The Brain Charity

For someone who has been diagnosed with a neurological condition, life may become very lonely and frightening, not only for themselves but their family and friends as well. People can lose control of their lives in a variety of ways. The Brain Charity champion neurodiversity and help anyone affected by a neurological condition with getting through these tough times and rebuilding their lives. The Brain Charity is the only charity in the UK to be here for every neurological condition, from strokes to epilepsy, dementia to brain tumours. Every year, The Brain Charity provide practical help, emotional support, and social activities to thousands of people from all over the UK. They Support anyone based in the UK who has a neurological condition, and their family, friends, and carers too.

In Dads case, we are very fortunate to have had so many great family members and friends who supported Dad throughout his battle. So many people don’t have this support network that we have had and this is where The Brain Charity come in.
